  • Serve on an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) team to support the business of Finance and Human Resources. 
  • Develop custom integrations using Workday integration tools, such as Enterprise Interface Builder, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.
  • Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
  • Design, build and support custom reports/dashboards to meet business requirements from various functional areas.
  • Manage user security.
  • Solving service and incident tickets within an IT ticketing system.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting ERP or comparable to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and personnel action forms, to include but not limited to: report development, business analysis, user security administration.
  • Experienced with integrations.
  • Proficiency with Web Services, APIs, XML, XSLT, ETL, etc.
  • Workday ERP platform experience (preferred)
A combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements on a year for year basis.

Licenses Or Certificates Required:
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record


Physical Demands:

  • Light physical work requiring the ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds, including lifting 10 pounds overhead.
  • Occasional carrying, walking, and standing.
  • Vision to analyze data and read and interpret reports, documents, and other written information.
  • Hand/eye coordination for operation of a computer keyboard.
  • Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and citizens. 
  • Capable of driving between city-supported buildings and to meetings in the Denver metro area as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Normally works in a clean, comfortable environment.
  • System support issues may require working outside the office environment and in or around emergency response vehicles. 
  • Requires rotational on-call support status after normal business work hours.

Essential Personnel: 

  • When a local announcement of emergency or disaster is declared by the City, all City of Aurora employees may be required to work as essential personnel.

Equipment Used:

  • Standard business and professional tools and equipment including computers, laptop computers, and mobile computing devices.
  • This position may require the incumbent to use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment.
